Another reminder of how awesome our friends are

We've known Nick and Carey for, I don't know, 6 years or so (?). When we went to dinner with them one evening about 5 years ago, they announced to us that they were expecting. That August, Owen was born, and we've been so thankful to have been involved with his life, and we were thrilled when their second child, Charlotte, was born this past September. Over the weekend we went to dinner with Nick and Owen, and that's when we gave Nick the news that we're expecting.

Today I got home from work to find a bag hanging on our door. Inside were some books: What to Expect when You're Expecting and a baby name book (which we've been talking about buying) and a congratulations card from Nick, Carey, Owen, and Charlotte. It was one of those things that just made us feel so warm and fuzzy. How thoughtful of them!!! I don't think they have any idea how happy it made us feel that they thought of us.
