This was an expensive weekend! We bought car parts (rotors and brake pads for Elphie, oil change necessities for The Stig), things we need for our trip, clothes (a depressing experience and I DON'T want to talk about it), new pots and soil to repot our houseplants, and of course, groceries. Our grocery bill has increased in the last couple of months and not because of the rising costs.
I guess there's really no point to this post other than to tell you that it felt like all we did this weekend was shop, which under normal circumstances would have been my perfect weekend, but given "the situation," it has turned into a chore. Boo.
After this coming work week I have a two-week break. Chris and I will be leaving for Virginia on Saturday April 4. On the 8th we'll leave Virginia and head to the NYC area to visit some friends. We'll come back home, Chris will go back to work, and I'll have a week at home. Maybe I'll be able to squeeze in a Body Shop party or two that week. Would be nice to get a few sales before the business goes under. (Let me know if you need details about that.)
