We stopped by my mom and dad's house on the way home from Rockland County on Sunday, and my mom gave me a bag FULL of candy that the Easter Bunny had left (he must know I'm pregnant!), and in the bag was a little thing wrapped in tissue paper. Once I got it partially unwrapped, I realized that it was a mug that I LOVED when I was little. My dad's mom made the mug, but my mom found it when they were cleaning the basement at my her parents' house.
Here's the mug...looks like any ordinary mug...
But here's why I liked it so much:
Inside is a little ceramic duck. I loved to drink milk out of the mug because it hid the duck, and as I drank the milk, the little quacker slowly revealed itself. I hope Blueberry likes it as much as I did!
