Well, I ended up feeling much better today. At the first sign of queasiness, I ate a few crackers, and thankfully I had some ginger ale with me. That helped a lot! I guess I can never really know how I'm going to feel from day to day. I do know, however, that as far as symptoms go, I'm very lucky. I've heard of some people being terribly sick for the first three months. I know that my luck may change as this adventure continues, but for now I'm pretty happy with how things are going. Except for outgrowing my clothes...I'm not sure I'll ever get over that!
Something very cute happened today. One of my students knew that I wasn't feeling well yesterday, so this morning she brought me a two-liter bottle of ginger ale! I thought that was adorable! It seems like my students are as excited as we are! They'll occasionally ask how I'm feeling or ask if we've thought of names or whatnot.
Here's hoping that Wednesday is a healthy day. I have a LOT going on the next couple months with 6th grade orientation, administering the SAT, the big awards ceremony and all of the work that goes along with it (and let me tell ya something---we put a TON of work into this (sometimes thankless) event), and all of the other things that happen at the end of a school year. I like all of the stuff that I'm doing, but at the same time, there's so much pressure to remember everything and do everything on time (which really means two months in advance) and it's just maddening. Plus, on top of it all, I have to do my regular job! This is absolutely the busiest time of year for me, and I'm just hoping I get through it without doing too much damage to me or to Blueberry!

My goodness, you do have a busy month! Let's believe the bottle of Ginger Ale was a sign of good health in pregnancy - especially for next month.
