We had an ultrasound today and it showed a healthy baby, which is all we really cared about. We didn't want to find out what it is--we want to enjoy the surprise. Of course, I have my feelings about what it is, but you never really know until it's born.
We learned that at the moment it's breech, but it's only 21 weeks and has the time and space to turn. My midwife will also keep an eye on that and if it's still breech when it's bigger, we can work on turning it before it gets too big to turn.
Speaking of too big, the ultrasound tech said that the baby is a little bit on the big side. According to BabyCenter.com, the baby is about 3/4 of a pound, but according to the measurements they took, it's more like 1lb to 1lb 2oz. I hope it levels off and this baby doesn't end up a monster!
